The legislature passed Act 677, which requires that Louisiana Department of Education and Local Education Agencies publish information on their websites about the sharing of students’ personally identifiable information. Act 677 requires Local Education Agencies to modify and post agreements that involve the sharing of students’ personally identifiable information (PII).
