Claiborne Parish Schools Mobile App Download Instructions
For the best first time experience, please read all the following instructions carefully before downloading your app
To download your app, Scan the QR code below with your smartphone or click the correct iPhone/Android appstore icon from your smartphone:
Once installed, choose Setup Now to select which of our schools campuses you would like to follow right away, then choose Go. You can choose Skip Setup to add or remove schools later from the My Schools menu near the bottom of the app hamburger menu at the top left.
Once the app finishes loading for the first time, choose Register at the bottom of the screen to create your user account. This account will allow you full access to all available app features. Choose Skip if you would like to Register later, but keep in mind that certain app features cannot be accessed without a user account. You can return anytime to Register from the My Profile menu at the very bottom of the app hamburger menu at the top left. To ensure the smoothest app experience, we recommend the creation of only one user account per person. (Note: At this time, district students are asked to Skip registration as we plan the details of their account creation process.)
Enter your First Name and Last Name. Next, select your App Role, which will determine your correct level of access to app features, then choose Next. School employees will use your district email (@cpsb.us) to register and log in to the app for full app access. Parents and guardians of their students should choose the Parent role. District students, relatives of students and other public guests should choose Other.
Next, enter your desired email address of choice, then choose Register again at the bottom of your screen. You may select Back to Login at this point. A link from SchoolInfo will be sent to the email you entered providing further instructions on how to set up your password. Once created, return to the login screen to sign in with your username and password. You may also use the My Profile menu from the app hamburger menu at the top left of the screen to access the login option. District employees should contact their Principal or Administrator for specific instructions regarding the creation of their app username and passwords.
After creating your username and password, the app will guide you through a brief tutorial of menu overviews. The app hamburger menu at the top left of the screen houses the app's many menus. Feel free to explore them and all they have to offer. Use the Phone icon at the bottom of the Home screen to quickly dial your local school's front office. Use the Website icon at the bottom of the Home screen to quickly access our district's website. Use the My Alert menu near the bottom to toggle which app notifications you would or would not like to receive. Use the My Profile menu to log in or out of the app. You may also use My Profile's Forgot Password menu to send a password reset link to your email in that event.
Your district campuses will be filling the app with a variety of personalized school content over the many months to come. Check back often to see what your campus is currently up to. Contact your Principal or Administrator with any questions or concerns. Enjoy, and again thank you!!
